Following a Dream

I don’t discourage making plans and work to follow through,
But don’t forget to cherish what the Lord provides today.
It’s great to have a dream to chase, I pray each dream comes true.
I pray that God is leading you and showing you the way.

Our life is often difficult, it’s not a waltz or dance.
Our paths are filled with challenges that come into our lives.
I pray you learn contentment with your every circumstance.
No matter what life brings I pray your soul can learn to thrive.

Complacency is different and it’s not at all the same.
We all press on in spite of what this life may put us through.
I pray you know the Lord your God and call upon His name.
I pray His Spirit lives inside providing strength to you.

Lord help us find contentment as we’re following a dream.
Lord help us learn to follow You, that You Lord reign supreme.
