Lord guide the words I pen today.
I pray You’re pleased with what I say.
When I’m compelled to point out sin,
I need, instead, to look within,
And focus more on change inside,
And realize for me You died.
Sometimes it’s easier to see
A fault in others, not in me.
Inside we know what’s wrong and right.
Instead, Lord help me spread Your light,
Dispel the darkness in our land.
Help others know and understand,
Your love is real. Your love is true.
We only need to trust in You.
