Our time is a precious and valuable gift,
Especially to someone who’s down, needs a lift.
God blessed us with talents the day we were born.
A talent is best when it’s used and well worn.
A talent that sits on the shelf will grow dust,
When ignored and forgotten will tarnish and rust.
A talent developed matures when it’s aged,
Grows sweeter and mellows as it is engaged.
Let our talents be offered as blessings to give,
A generous gift every day that we live.
We each have a talent, a gift we can share.
A gift shared in love will show others we care.
A talent’s not something to keep or to hide.
I pray that we each share the talent inside.
Thanks for reminding me of my talents, and how I need to use them or they will gather dust. God help me to clean my cupboard, and let the talents escape from their hiding places.
