I don’t know where or when or how,
But evil’s spread across our land.
Our apathy is rampant now.
Is no one left to take a stand?
When did the change in us begin,
Embracing things we know are wrong,
Despise the ones who call it sin?
I pray for those who sing God’s song,
Who humbly bow their heads in prayer,
Reach out to God and seek his face,
Turn from the wicked ways we share,
Turn back to God, His love embrace.
We serve a God who’s also just.
I pray it’s true, “In God we trust.”
