The children long for Christmas Day
And wish that it could always stay.
The Christmas spirit need not leave.
Reach out in love and trust, believe.
It’s not about the lights, the bows.
God’s Son brought life when He arose.
His love brings joy inside our hearts,
A lasting peace that won’t depart.
The shepherds heard the angels sing.
God sent His Son, a newborn King.
We celebrate that holy night.
He is the everlasting light.
The greatest story ever told,
Reach out in faith let love take hold.
