Another Christmas Eve is here.
It’s more than lights and mistletoe.
Take time to pause, reflect this year.
Reach out in love to those you know.
Perhaps someone who needs a lift
Could use some simple words of hope.
Perhaps your time’s the perfect gift,
Encouragement to help them cope.
I pray the words I pen in rhyme
Encourage you, show love and care.
Should they withstand the test of time,
Perhaps live on as others share,
I pray that others find God’s love,
Embrace His gift sent from above.
