In this world I see evil, it’s on full display.
I see it in headlines, on news every day.
I try to find wisdom that’s found in God’s word,
To read His word daily, absorb what I’ve heard.
So many are hurting, and suffering wrongs,
Inflicted through evil pretending it’s strong.
Lord help us to turn and to seek after light,
Each day be devoted to doing what’s right.
Lord help me seek righteousness, teach me to live,
Help me distribute the love that You give.
In Your word I find beauty, You fill me with hope.
Help me find ways to do more than just cope.
Lord help me to journal, point others to You,
Capture in verses Your love that is true.
