Lord grant us words to spread Your love,
Refresh like dew from up above,
That penetrate a hardened heart,
Words that cling and won’t depart.
Your love we sorely need today,
So many folks who’ve lost their way,
Confused by rhetoric gone wrong.
It’s time to sing once more Your song,
A song of love, a song of grace,
A song that fills an empty space,
A loneliness, a hurt, a fear.
Your song of love I pray we hear.
Lord touch our hearts, once more renew
Our spirit Lord, drawn close to You.
Lord grant us wisdom, words to share,
Help us, Your people, show we care.
