Mend and Soar

September 27, 2021

If I stay down, choose not to soar,
I’m missing out, there’s so much more.
I cannot fit inside a mold,
Nor just sit back, watch life unfold.

Is it a waste of thought or time
To share my heart and soul in rhyme?
I pray my verse helps others cope,
And reaches out to offer hope.

I pray my words help others sing,
Someone who needs a mended wing,
A little help before they fly,
Before they soar into the sky.

I pray God blesses you this day.
I pray your hurts soon fade away.
