I like a rainbow after rain,
A sign that there’s an end to pain.
No matter what my life may bring,
Once more I’ll find a time to sing.
The rain blows through to help me grow,
So much I need to learn and know.
It helps me know that God is true,
No matter what I’m going through.
I may be weak, but He is strong.
He’s by my side the whole day long.
His Holy Spirit lifts me up.
Each day with love He fills my cup.
His love is light that’s true and pure.
He is my strength. I can endure.
I cannot see around the bend,
But trust the Lord, my God, my friend.
