With simple words shared from the heart,
I pray the thoughts that I impart
Can demonstrate the love of God
As I share paths that I have trod.
I’ve been through trials in my days.
I trust the Lord and all His ways.
If I could shape life as I please,
I’d only know a life of ease.
Every day the sun would shine,
A perfect life, each day is fine.
But troubles come that I don’t plan,
Beyond my grasp to understand.
He’s walked with me through trials before,
I’ve learned to trust Him even more.
When I am lost without a clue,
I trust in God to get me through.
