Sharing in Rhyme
So many stories make us laugh,
Forget our troubles for a time,
But I’ve been led a different path,
To share my heart with words of rhyme.
I share the words I find and feel,
I pour them out upon each line,
And pray perhaps if words can heal,
That God may use these words of mine.
If I by sharing what’s inside,
The love that Jesus placed in me,
Encourage others not to hide,
Allow the Lord to set them free,
Then I’ve invested well my time.
I’ll know that God has blessed my rhyme.
