It once was easy to declare,
“I trust in God to guide my way.
I follow Him. He’s always there.”
But things have changed it seems today.
It’s not as popular to do.
To take a stand. To follow Him.
To trust His Word, believe it’s true.
It’s easier to follow them,
The ones who say, “There is no God,”
Who only trust in what they see.
Say “Those with faith are strange or odd.
The only one to please is me.”
I pray dear Lord for those who soar,
Who dare to trust in You once more.
