A quiet place to rest and pray
A time to read God’s Holy Word
A bit of solitude each day
Inside my heart I pray I’ve heard
The Lord took time away from crowds
And His disciples listened, learned
In gentle words not spoken loud
He shared with them and they discerned
His words remain for us to read
A daily bread to feed our soul
Both soul and body must be fed
We need God’s Word to keep us whole
I pray you have a quiet place
To speak to God and know His grace
A quiet time – a one on one with the Lord – even if you have to draw close to Him in a crowd.
I have always tried to have a quiet place for devotion even as a child and God has always opened a path to that goal. When you seek to be with Him, He provides a way.
