Do you long for some days when there’s not much to do,
A few days to linger and just hang around,
Instead of those days thinking “Lord get me through,”
Those days filled with turmoil, life’s coming unwound?
I pray you find peace in the midst of the strife.
Just whisper a prayer knowing God’s in control.
Perhaps it’s a loved one, a husband, or wife.
May you find the Lord’s comfort down deep in your soul.
Lord at times we grow weary, the load’s hard to bear.
We need Your help daily to carry the weight.
You’re always beside us, we’re grateful You’re there.
You’re the One in control, our life’s not left to fate.
Our life here on earth like a vapor will fade,
But Your spirit’s inside us eternally made.
