There’s nothing like faith in the Lord up above
To give me the courage I need every day.
One who gave up His life so that I could know love
Is the leader I follow, He shows me the way.
He provides me the confidence, not in myself,
But in One with authority. He’s in control.
His Words are not something to keep on a shelf
But rather to read and absorb in my soul.
The Lord keeps me stable and steadfast and strong.
I’m grateful for blessings preserved in His Word.
Lord keep me from evil, the things that are wrong.
Lord lift my heart daily to soar like a bird.
Lord You give me strength and the courage to stand.
You hold my life in the palm on Your hand.
