No matter what the year may bring
May you find joy, may your heart sing.
May you find peace in spite of storms,
God’s love inside to keep you warm.
Life brings the best and worst of times.
Our roots reach deep through dirt and grime
To gain the strength we need to grow.
Look up and feel God’s love and know
Our life on earth is not the end.
No matter what’s around the bend
God’s love’s eternal, pure, and strong.
He walks with us the whole day long.
May you know joy and peace this year
Throughout the ups and downs and tears.
