The world may seem a frightful place,
But what have I to fear or dread?
I have a friend who’s full of grace.
I choose to trust in Him instead.
He’s always there to lift me up.
He comforts me when I am blue.
Inside my heart He fills my cup.
He gives me life. His words are true.
Lord help me hear with all my heart,
Discern the truth inside Your Word,
That’s filled with wisdom to impart.
I pray each day that I have heard.
You’ve placed Your love inside of me.
Lord help me share, let others see.
