A quiet peace begins inside,
Not something forced upon my mind,
A peace that only God provides.
I trust the Lord, His peace I find.
Where peace begins to touch my thoughts
Is in my heart not in my brain.
A battleground where foes are fought
For peace that overcomes the pain.
The war’s been won I know His peace,
A peace that’s built on solid rock.
It’s strong and firm, will never cease.
I pray that those who doubt or mock,
Who Find no peace inside their soul
Allow the Lord to make them whole.
