God’s Word, the Bible, always true,
God shared His Word through quite a few.
Those trusted men wrote down the words
Empowered to capture what they heard.
I thank the Lord His Word’s preserved,
And for His gift no one deserved.
He sent His Son to make a way
For us to come to God and pray.
He sent His Son that we might live
A gift that only He could give.
He came to earth as flesh and bone,
We could not reach Him on our own.
The Word God shared will never die.
Some day with Him we’ll soar and fly.
