Some days are dark, the skies are gray.
It seems so hard to maintain hope.
More troubles mount most every day.
Sometimes in life it’s hard to cope.
I put my faith in Christ alone.
He gives me life, protects my soul,
I know the Lord’s still on the throne.
He’ll lead me on, attain life’s goal.
I don’t know what this day will bring,
What troubles lurk behind the door.
I pray, inside, my heart can sing.
Lord give me wings to fly once more.
Lord light the way through troubled days.
I lift You up. I give You praise.
