Another dawn of rain and haze,
A stormy life so many days.
I pray I’ll soon emerge from night.
I long to see the sun, the light.
But You are with me through it all,
In days when life has seemed to stall.
We’ve walked through many trials before.
I know ahead there will be more.
Inside the storms You are my peace.
You bring me comfort ‘til they cease.
I trust in You when troubles come.
I know ahead there will be some.
I come to You each day in prayer.
I find Your love, Your daily care.
It may be evening, morning, noon,
I pray that Your return is soon.
