Lord help me to value each day of the year.
Gain wisdom and insight, know each day is dear.
Lord help me to find You each morning I pray.
Help me to know You are near me each day.
Lord bless me each morning with unfailing love.
I ask for Your blessing each day from above.
I pray that Your love turns to joy in my heart,
That the joy turns to song, gives each day a fresh start.
I pray that the misery known in days past
Will fade in proportion to gladness that lasts.
I pray that the years filled with evil we’ve seen,
Will change into good like the springtime brings green.
Lord show us Your glory that others may see.
I pray Your reflection each day’s seen in me.
I pray You approve of the words that I share,
Successful in spreading Your love and Your care.
