Reach Out

I pray today for ones in doubt,
In search of what your life’s about.

At times we wonder, “What’s my role?”
We feel adrift without a goal.

Reach out to God and simply pray,
Asking God to lead the way.

Don’t wait for something great or grand,
A big parade or marching band.

Take pleasure in the simple things.
You’ll be surprised at what He brings.

A simple kindness in His name
Can touch a life and light a flame.

No longer ask, “Why do I live?”
Instead seek out, “What can I give.”

I pray you find your special gift
To help give someone else a lift.
