A Dream Last Night
I had a dream, and someone spoke,
I heard the words, then I awoke.
At half past three, still in my bed,
“Read Romans 12” is what he said.
I just recalled that single phrase,
The rest obscured, now just a haze.
I lay back down, the message heard,
Awoke refreshed and read the Word.
I don’t recall a dream before
With just one phrase, and little more.
I know those words were meant for me,
Perhaps they’re words you too should see.
That chapter’s packed with words of life
For times when we are facing strife.
Along with me, I think you’ll find
The words transform, renew your mind.
I pray that every word you read
Will fill your heart with what you need.
