The alignment of earth, and the sun, and the moon
Will bring an eclipse that will come about soon.
The earth on its axis, its movement well known,
The path of the shadow is charted and shown.
We’re less able to chart what the future will hold
For the course of our life, if we’ll live to grow old.
Not even tomorrow is certain and sure,
What turn of events we might need to endure.
I trust in the Lord who is faithful and true.
He laid out my course, every detail He knew.
He allows me the choices each day that I make.
He saw from the start every choice, each mistake.
He loved me enough that His Son paid the price.
My future is certain in God’s paradise.
We have our glasses and are ready! I love the rest of the poem too seeing Gods hand in all our ways. A podcast I listened to this morning talked about numbering our days. Numbering our days for a Christian is not just mathematical, it should be missional. It should be making our days count for the Lord. We have an Awesome, Amazing God.
