Another day, another rhyme,
For me it’s not a waste of time.
The time it takes to share them too,
If that’s worthwhile is up to you.
It soothes my soul to contemplate,
Then find the words that can relate
Thoughts from my heart, and soul and mind,
The images I sometimes find.
If no one else will read but me,
At least I’ve set the captives free,
No longer bottled up inside,
Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide.
My journal is an open book,
For those who choose to have a look.
It is good to hear from you again.
