Life’s frantic pace can pull at me,
It does not breed tranquility.
It’s peace inside I long to find,
A peace that soothes my heart and mind.
I’m drawn to scriptures for my soul,
Their wisdom’s deep, though ages old.
“Be still and know that I am God,”
Still brings me peace, my soul applauds.
My soul finds rest and then my heart,
A lasting peace won’t soon depart.
When I take time, pause quiet, still,
Spend time with God and seek His will,
Remember God is in control,
I find His peace within my soul.
Thanks from home town for your love and sharing of the Lord. I often wonder how many lives you have touched. I see that God has bless you in bearing fruit in the work and increase your knowledge from the time we grew up together in church. Thanks for sharing.
