But our God is in the heavens; He does whatever He pleases. Psalm 115:3
God needs no counsel, He has full control.
He does as He pleases, no need to explain.
He knows of our heartache, He’s there to console.
If I trust Him in hard times instead of complain,
If in faith I can praise Him when things seem so wrong,
If I trust in His love when my world falls apart,
Then through trials when I’m tested, I pray I’ll grow strong.
I pray when it’s over I’ll have a fresh start.
Troubles last through the evening, but morning brings light.
The troubles in this life one day will be done.
I only see glimpses, one day I’ll gain sight.
One day I will see Him, give thanks to His Son.
Even in hard times when things go awry,
I trust Him to love me, no need to ask why.
