Final Phase

May 19, 2022

A pleasant morning void of rain
A gentle breeze upon my face
As soothing words flow through my brain
Content to live a slower pace

For decades worked in overdrive
Create new paths, new goals achieve
The bleeding edge was where I thrived
To bring to life what we conceived

I now live life in lower gear
I’m cherishing this final phase
It’s not a time of life to fear
Instead embrace these final days

Enjoy the pause, life’s still worthwhile,
The little things can bring a smile.

    Thanks John.
Retirement is wonderful and a blessing from the Lord. So thankful He still gives us work to do but at a slower pace.
