May the joy of the season, the still of the night
Bring peace on the earth until dawn’s early light.
May the Light end the darkness, our sight to restore.
Embrace what is good and love others once more.
With so many so needy, so many in pain,
Take time to share love, we have so much to gain.
Let hate be defeated, let’s give love a chance,
Break forth in laughter, in song, and in dance.
It’s easy to say but much harder to do,
Letting go of the past and embracing the new.
Refocus on others find ways to reach out.
Love that is shared is what life’s all about.
God sent us His love, let it fill every space.
I pray in your heart you’ve prepared Him a place.
