When others suggest that you give up and quit,
Yet you know in your heart that you made the right choice,
Maintain perseverance with hard work and grit,
Ignoring discouragement others may voice.
It’s not always easy pursuing a goal,
So many distractions to pull us away.
Remember in hard times reach deep in your soul,
And know in the long run persistence will pay.
The high road’s not easy, sometimes a steep climb,
But a worthwhile endeavor to get to the peak.
Sometimes it’s a journey that takes a long time.
I pray you find courage whatever you seek.
Ask God for His guidance in all that you do,
And pray for His wisdom in all you pursue.
