What’s in a word, a phrase, a line
That like a candlelight can shine
A ray of hope to fill the hole,
A melody to touch the soul?
A rhythmic flow, a soothing sound
Can touch a place where peace is found.
Our mind can pause, release the fear,
Embrace the melody we hear.
Our soul seeks after perfect peace
A lasting joy to never cease,
Not just a melody or rhyme
With peace that fades away with time.
I pray your soul will find, embrace
The source of peace meet face to face.
