May the birth of creation take place in my mind.
May I capture the glory of God that I find.
As I gaze into space may I see the sublime.
The boundless dimensions extend beyond time.
May I seek the creator His beauty behold,
In springtime see colorful splendor unfold,
The beauty of rainbows that stretch through the sky,
That reach iridescently heavens on high.
Magnificent creatures inhabit this earth,
Form circles of life as they live and give birth.
We all have a span from the day we are born,
Some days we’ll be happy, some days we will mourn.
I pray I can capture the beauty I find,
With words paint the pictures that form in my mind.
May the words and the letters of just black and white,
Give birth to a rainbow, bring colors to light.
