Follow

I pray I can listen and follow God’s will,
Be fully aware of what God has to say.
Perhaps there’s a mission he’d have me fulfill.
I pray I can follow and not lose my way.

I pray for God’s guidance that’s found in His Word.
I pray that His Spirit will help me to hear.
I pray that His message will clearly be heard.
May I hear with my heart and not just with my ears.

In order to follow, then first I must read.
In order to hear I must open my heart,
Be willing to follow wherever He leads.
Lord grant me discernment to know where to start.

Lord help me to follow, each day is brand new.
I pray that each day I draw closer to You.
