So many are hurting and asking, “Lord why?”
Perhaps it’s beyond what our minds comprehend.
God knows every tear as it falls when we cry.
The Lord provides comfort, helps broken hearts mend.
Like a child on a journey that keeps asking ‘When’,
How long must we wait for the answer to prayer?
Perhaps it’s today, or it’s just ‘round the bend,
Or perhaps it’s been answered, we’re just not aware.
Our prayers are important but seeking God’s will
Is what matters most in our journey through life.
If we trust in the Lord as we climb every hill,
We’re surrounded in love as we’re walking through strife.
Lord my life’s in Your hands and I trust You know best.
I know You’re beside me through every life test.
