Learning to Serve

More focus on others and less on my needs,
Always remembering others in prayer,
Helps me learn how to serve, how to follow God’s lead.
Lord I need Your help daily to love and to care.

If my heart and my soul remains focused on You,
If I read Your word daily, continue to pray,
I’ll more easily see what You’d have me to do,
More easily speak what You’d have me to say.

I pray that Your Spirit will help me discern
How I can serve, the right places to go.
Lord teach me each day, I have so much to learn,
How best to serve others, so much I don’t know.

I’ll continue to write, may You bless every word.
I pray as I share that Your message is heard.
