It’s Christmas Eve another year,
Another Christmas almost here.
I don’t know what the year will bring,
What kind of song my heart will sing.
We stand four generations tall.
The first great grand she came this fall.
One more to come, two months away.
Now we’re the ones adorned with grey.
The Christmases go by so fast,
Build memories, the love will last.
Traditions fade but new ones form,
Some old, some new, become the norm.
No matter how traditions change,
How we adapt and rearrange,
We celebrate the Savior’s birth,
The day He came to dwell on earth.
