I share my faith with words of rhyme.
I pray they last beyond my time.
I pray they help another see,
A glimpse into eternity.
Our lives are brief upon this earth,
Our days are numbered from our birth.
Created by the Master’s hand,
We cannot fully understand.
Much like a child we want control,
Define our life, attain a goal,
Then in a flash we’re at the end.
I pray by then the Lord’s your friend.
I pray you’ve known His love for years,
Walked by His side through joys and tears.
