So many are hungry and seeking what’s true,
So weary from chasing the shiny and new,
Tired of the promise of instant success,
Drained by solutions that only oppress.
Instead of the question, “What’s in it for me?”
I pray they find truth and can truly be free.
Truth that can give them the courage to live
A life that is asking, “What more can I give?”
Truth that inspires and never grows old,
Bringing more value than silver or gold.
Not living in fear of the day they decease
But rather each day knowing joy and peace.
I pray they find truth that will always endure,
Truth that is ancient, and holy, and pure.
Believe in your heart and not just in your head,
“Christ died for our sins and he rose from the dead.”
