Lord help me use my time on earth,
May I be faithful day by day,
Pursue the things of lasting worth,
Reflect Your love with words I say.
May Your love grow inside of me,
Sink deep its roots, find fertile ground,
Tame evil ways and set me free
To hear Your voice, how sweet the sound.
Lord help me find the words of praise
To lift You up, reveal Your love
With all of my remaining days,
Until I’m home with You above.
May others hear my words, my song,
Be drawn to You, know they belong.
