If I could peer into your mind,
What’s lurking there that I would find?
What stays inside you dare not share,
Keep those around you unaware?
If you keep secrets locked away,
When buried deep they rot, decay.
They eat away at heart and soul.
Confess your wrongs and be made whole.
Let light into that secret place.
Confront the secrets you must face.
Don’t let the secrets stay inside,
Find someone close to trust, confide.
I pray you find a path that’s right.
I pray your heart gives way to light.
