You are the balm to soothe my soul,
To comfort me as I grow old.
You place inside my heart a song.
Your warm embrace says I belong.
Your Spirit has a home inside,
A special place where love abides.
For now, I know You through a haze.
But when complete these earthly days,
I’ll spend eternity with You,
Where everything is fresh and new.
To enter realms now unaware,
Will be a sight beyond compare.
Beyond the bounds of time and space,
I’ll find my final resting place.
