As birthday greetings come my way,
Sent out in love, I read each line.
I’m touched by thoughts that they convey.
I’m blessed with friends, well-aged like wine.
I’m grateful that I have my sight.
My vision now is clear and true.
It’s easier for me to write,
Express my gratitude to you.
I’m thankful for the ones who read
The words I write, and post, and share.
I pray perhaps they meet a need,
As I express God’s love and care.
