I’ve reached an age considered old.
I’ve seen a lot of life unfold.
I’m grateful for the days and years,
For ups and downs, for joys and tears.
I’ve made some friends along the way,
I lift a prayer for you today,
And for the friends I’m yet to meet,
This prayer’s for you to be complete,
“No matter what this day may bring,
That through it all your heart may sing.
“No matter what’s your stage of life,
You’ve likely seen your share of strife.
“Those close to you with whom you share,
I pray will hear, show love and care.”

It wraps your heart, embraces you.
