I pray you’re safe, secure, and warm,
You have a shelter from the storm,
A place that you can call your bed,
A place to rest your weary head.
Now close your eyes, let fears depart,
And feel the beating of your heart.
Your lungs expand as you inhale,
Let go of cares as you exhale.
Let go of stress, just for the night.
Let worries fade beyond your sight.
As you drift off in peaceful sleep
I pray your rest is long and deep.
I pray the dreams that come to you
Refresh you like the morning dew.
I pray this night your worries cease,
You rise refreshed, your soul at peace.
