God and Country

When did a few begin speaking for all?
Who’s actually wanting our country to fall?
No one in my circle of friends want to see
An end to this country, the land of the free.

I think the percentage of people is low
Encouraging hate and division to grow.
Why live in a country they truly despise?
Let us who love God and our country arise,

Call on the Lord, give Him glory, proclaim,
“Lord Jesus we love You, we lift up Your name.
We ask for forgiveness, please bless us once more.
You are the One who can heal and restore.”

I pray we the people who love God will pray
That the blessing of God won’t be taken away.
