We’re frail and we’re human. We’re made out of clay.
Our Father’s in heaven, we’re children of light.
We think we are strong, and we wander astray.
We escape under darkness, the cover of night.
Why the attraction of evil and harm?
What’s so alluring that pulls us to choose
Evil not virtue? I don’t see the charm.
It’s a path to destruction there’s so much to lose.
What good is a mountain of silver or gold,
Or a room full of trophies and plaques and awards,
If you gain the whole world and you give up your soul?
Life’s full of illusions that shatter in shards.
Our Father is waiting in heaven above.
May our hearts fill with joy from the true source of love.
