We’re each given but one life to live,
To learn how to love and to give,
To discover the treasures inside,
And find ways to share and not hide.
“It’s better to give than receive,”
Is a concept that’s hard to believe.
We’re each given gifts to impart.
The best gifts are shared from the heart.
We each need a passion, a drive
To keep us alert and alive.
Don’t dwell on regrets when you’re old.
Build mem’ries more precious than gold.
I pray that God shows me the way,
To share love with others each day.
